Posterwomxn is a platform and online magazine that amplifies the visibility of womxn and non-binary designers and promotes gender equality within the design industry.

As a response to the lack of femxle representation in poster design, Posterwomxn was initiated in 2018 by Svenja Lettera, Berlin-based graphic designer and art director. The project has since evolved from an Instagram feed to a publishing platform, with the aim to highlight diverse positions on poster design, and provide context and backstory to these positions. Posterwomxn also sometimes takes form as temporary spaces for artistic process via collaboratively organized projects.

The word »womxn« is a play on the word »women/woman« used to represent a spectrum of genders beyond the gender binary.
